Word lock template

For challenges whose key is a word: a character, a concept from the unit or the answer to a riddle. The card has a box for each letter, and the table helps you plan a clue for each one.

Choose the secret word and write its letters in the table, one per row. For each letter, write a clue that reveals it without giving the answer away: a question, a definition or a detail hidden in the classroom. Cut the card out along the dashed line and hand it out with the clues.

In the options you can choose how many letters the word has, from 3 to 8.
